In a statement from Carrie Luft, on behalf of Jennifer Dulos' family and friends, the group is honoring her birthday by encouraging gestures of kindness, "send a loving note to a friend, assist a person in need, tell a child they’re special.
"Jennifer has now been missing for more than four months. The heartbreak goes on even as time moves forward," the group said.
They also thanked the New Canaan and Farmington-Avon communities for the ongoing support and solidarity.
"And, as ever, we are deeply indebted to the New Canaan and Connecticut State Police for their tireless and dedicated efforts in Jennifer’s case," the statement said.
Jennnifer Dulos was reported missing on Friday, May 24, after she failed to show up for numerous appointments. She was last seen dropping off her five children at school earlier that morning.
Since then, her estranged husband Fotis Dulos and his former girlfriend Michelle Troconcis have been arrested twice for tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution in connection with the case. They are both free on bond.
But, perhaps, more importantly, the community has kept her memory alive by hanging posters, wearing bracelets, and in a hundred other little ways.
And, as the police continue their seemingly endless search for the missing mom, the family asks anyone with information about the disappearance to email FindJenniferDulos@newcanaanct.gov or call the New Canaan Police Tip Line at 203-594-3544.
